hee. i had a weird dream last night! i bet it was b/c i was sorta watching the miss universe pageant while cleaning the living room last night. i mean, you know, they show the judges' scores as the people walk by in their evening gowns, and i don't understand it. some of the gowns i really liked got really low scores. and the one gown i thought was way too 70s got the highest score! i am absolutely incapable of predicting it. i don't even know what their criteria are! it's like, they speak an entirely different language than i do. heee.

and actually, i was kinda disappointed! heh. that there weren't ANY black women in the top-ten, b/c i thought there were definitely some prettier chicas that the chicas in the top ten. you know? heee. it's actually kinda interesting, too. not EVERY chica is a total skinnified model-girl, though obviously most are. but still, you do get a glimpse that in different places of the world there are still somewhat different standards of beauty, except uhm. they look more alike than ever, in terms of bodies i mean. though not as alike as miss americas? and more of them had fake huge boobs that - in their swimsuits - totally unbalanced their bodies. hahahah. and were totally popping out ALL OVER THE PLACE in their evening gowns.

though, i wonder why someone doesn't choose black! black's nice and dramatic. they all choose white, or some variant thereon, except one girl picked red. and i liked it! more variety, ladies. PLEASE. NO ONE BELIEVES THAT EITHER YOU OR YOUR FAKE BOOBS ARE VIRGINS.

heh. okay, having gotten that out? i feel better.

plus... man, miss france i thought was a nice, sorta arrogant blonde? but mostly the europeans were ugly compared to the africans, carribeans and so. americans. seriously. i wish i was like, hispanic and kinda multiracial or something. man! good genes!

ooooh, and miss russia won. i love how when they talk on camera they talk like that. "i thought us virgin islands had a great smile. and bolivia is kickass on the dance floor." and actually, miss russia was quite pretty and apparently kinda smart! like, she's working on a Ph.D., rather than all these women who are, uhm.... whatever they are. in advertising!

heee.

hee. so, in my dream? i'm not sure. there was a race, and there was a scavenger hunt, and i had to drive some people around in an SUV-thing in the dark, that wasn't my own. and then i was suddenly at this celebration-thing, where like, there were all these catholics, and it was like an international students' festival, except all catholic, and the main part of each celebration was a distinctive mass. like, an irish procession and mass. a greek procession and mass. a... uhm. italian procession and mass. a mexican procession and mass. a czech procession and mass.

and i totally know that uhm. greece and probably the czech republic are not catholic, but they were kinda in my dream. at the end, i was supposed to take something from EACH MASS (but i missed a couple, b/c i was babysitting some of my dad's international students. back a few years ago, they had a total influx of students from thailand to marshall. how odd! heheh. not that they were thai? but that they wanted to come to marshall.), and then (i read the directions), i was supposed to go to the park, and find someone and give them something. then they would give me a password and i had to log onto MUSE. i know what that is, but i don't have time to explain.
